Solaris (movie) ending....

If you've seen it (both the '72 & '02 are pretty much the same), do you think it's fake him on earth or is he getting closer and closer to being engulfed by Solaris on the station...I can argue both, just wanted someone elses input to maybe sway me in one direction of the other...

Oh man. I haven't thought about that movie in a long time. My best friend and I went to see it in the theater. All I remember is us thinking it was "unfair" the Clooney's naked butt was in the movie but not the actress's. Teenagers
