Hello everyone. I have spent the last few hours browsing the many things these forums have to offer. After realizing what I was missing out on I decided to joing these massive message boards. I have to say that the Imagineering forum is definitely the most creative and seemingly the most fun forum on here. Like I see many others have, I am going to attempt to create my own Disney resort. My resort will be a mix of what I would like to happen, while keeping it realistic enough to assume that it could happen.

]My resort sits on a massive property of about 17,000 acres of land which would make it the second largest Disney resort, behind Walt Disney World (which is an astounding 27,000 acres). As of opening day, the resort would be composed of the Disneyland Park, three resort hotels, and the marketplace area of Downtown Disney. This would leave room for a lot of expansion.

The resort would be located in Hawaii, although I haven't decided on what island yet. I wanted something in the United States but everywhere in the contential US was too close to either Walt Disney World or Disneyland, so I went with Hawaii. Besides already being a vacation destination, I wanted my resort to sit on the coast, which would allow me to have a crusie line depot and what better spot to have a cruise line depot that Hawaii!

My master plan will evenutally call for five theme parks, twenty four hotels, three waterparks, and an absolutely gigantic Downtown Disney but thats for later.

I am currenly working on the finishing touches of my first land of the Disneyland Park which I hope to have up tonight.

Any comments, questions or suggestions between now and then are welcomed.
