I just want to know how soft openings work and the possibility that I might be part of the soft opening of SGE in september. Going from Sept 19 - 26.

Thanks

I guess soft openings are a kind of preview before the official "HERE IT IS, COME RIDE". We rode M:S the day before the big opening. We felt SO special! HeHe

just wondering

my big question is:

is it like business as usual except they try to get kinks out or is it like only a certain amount of people a day or only 2 shows a day

or do they just give out tickets through fast pass

just wondering how it works in this regard

It is run as business as usual, but some days the ride may not open and it may become unoperational at any time and have to close. Also, some fine show effects may not be complete, as was the case for Mission: SPACE (most significantly, the spinning centrifuge animation during the first preshow). I would say given you are taking a pretty long trip the week before this ride opens, you have a real good shot at seeing it.
