So, you think the weather will attempt to cooperate tomorrow?

I'm hoping it will!

Finally going to Epcot tomorrow to celebrate my 30th birthday (did things last night & today with friends to start the celebration early). I'm extremely excited as I haven't been to Epcot in 3½ years.

Anyhow, I've been visiting several weather websites (weather.com, orlandoweather.com, accuweather.com... you get the idea) to try and get a feeling exactly what it's going to do tomorrow. Looks like it'll be nice in the morning, then possible rain/storms in the afternoon (says 40% chance at most). Really hoping it cooperates though as it almost always rains on my birthday. But then the weather down here is screwy. I remember when I went to Downtown Disney one day last month. The forecast said it was supposed to start arining around noon or 1pm... never saw a drop all day. Was sunny and clear. But then there was dry air that was keeping the rain at bay. This time I don't think that's going to happen.

Either way, I'm bringing an umbrella just in case. Just found out my Tigger umbrella folds small enough to fit in my bag! YAY!

Hey, you only have one 30th Birthday. Go mad... if it rains, dance about in the street in it!

Seeing that it is Orlando, and it is August, I'm pretty sure it will rain at some point during the day. Make the most of it.

Have a great b/day anyway

The 40% chance of afternoon rain is standard protocol in Orlando. You can almost set your clock to it.

If it sounds like it won't rain in the morning or evening, then you'll be fine. The afternoon rains happen all the time. Since Epcot has pavilions, you can spend rain time in a big building like Innoventions or Mexico or The Land. Epcot is by far the best park to be in if it's raining.

Yeah I know. Funny thing is I keep seeing conflicting weather forecasts online. On both weather.com and accuweather.com they show a mix of sun clouds and possible rain with a 30-40% chance of precipitation. Over on orlandoweather.com (powered by the Orlando Sentennial and local channel 2), it says 60% chance of rain. I have a feeling the latter is way off. I've noticed more often than not, the weather forecasters down here end up getting it totally wrong... or they'll say it's sunny when it's raining (and vice versa). Makes you wonder.
