We want to visit Euro Disney while we are here. Is it doable over a weekend trip or do you need more days? Also any recommendations would be great. Places to stay, thing to do, best times to go, and places to eat. All the usual stuff when on vacation.

Thanks

I would give it a weekend to three days. (Assuming you are a hard-core Disney person). I've stayed at a few of the Disney hotels but they are very pricy. It's very easy to stay in Paris and just take the TGV out each day and then you can enjoy what the city has to offer along with getting a nice Disney fix.

We ate at Walt's on Main Street. That was the highlight Disney meal.

Hope this helps.

You will get a lot more bang for your back if you can get to the parks during a weekday, the weekends will be very busy.

Keep an eye on the ticket prices, the Annual Passports are very reasonably priced and can work out cheaper if you are spending a few days there based on the discounts you get on pretty much everything (including hotels).

Don't go in to the park and compare everything to what you already know at Walt Disney World, if you do this you will probably hate it. Go in with an open mind and appreciate everything for it's own merit and I am sure you will love it.

I found a lot of the duplicate attractions from Florida were actually better in Paris, like Peter Pan and Big Thunder. Definitely do Phantom Manor, Pirates and Space Mountain as they are very different. Be prepared that the park is very nice, but not well maintained; trash on the ground, apathetic CMs, loading procedures with no sense of logic. But go, its is worth it.
