Well, not band camp but I'm at the Marching Band Grand Nationals in Indianapolis. I must confess, I am one of those to poke a little fun at band kids. But Holy Crap do some of these schools put out a performance.

My sons school from MI was state champ in flight 2 and another school from across town was state champ in flight 1. They are both very good at what they do.

Then I saw the schools from Texas and Oklahoma. These schools are in an entire different league.

I am quite impressed to where I'm gonna go to the finals tonight.

I agree. There are some great marching bands out there. I especially like the southeastern small college bands which really put on a show. Like in the Nick Cannon movie Drumline.
