The backwards portion of Mummy might as well not exist. It's way too short and doesn't serve much of a purpose other than to make it possible to say "This ride goes backwards.*" The story for ROTM is lame also. "The movie set is cursed... but it's not actually a movie set, it's a temple, but it's not actually a temple or a movie set, it's a ride at a theme park... but wait, it's a movie set again." With Everest, you get one consistent story from the moment you step into the land (even before you get to the queue there are references and details to tell you where you are and why). The backwards portion really packs a punch, and the whole thing is so smooth. I like them both, but to try and compare them or to say that Mummy is superior "Hands Down" is a bit of a stretch for me. "*down a small hill for about 4 seconds."
