there goes delta song off the face of the earth. Loved this airline more than anyother. their inflight entertainment was kewl, the staff was energetic and more friendly than any other. I know that they are still in the delta realm but in a way the were seperate entities in behavior and style and I loved songs style....

they plan to cease operations MAY 2006.

At least I will get a chance to ride em once more

Now back to american/united where your planes look like they are still from
1950. ugh!!!

have they announced that song is no longer flying? because there are a bunch of other ailines bankrupt beyong belief still flying. also, Comair is great, not fancy but pretty reliable and the service is good. just as a little random tidbit camair is actually making money, and lots of it, but it just went down in the flaming fireball that is delta.

--edit-- just read your original post, never mind the begining.--edit--

Song will be merged into the regular Delta fleet, and the planes will be retrofitted to include a first class cabin. The article I read sounded like the in flight entertainment would be no longer. My last two trips I took Song, both flights were on time, my luggage was not lost, and the in flight trivia game passed the time admirably. By the way, if you were on a flight with me, I was the one kicking your butt.
