So the weird thing is that I also had some free time at the end of my business trip here so I shuttled back to the park to catch what Disney Studios had to offer in the late afternoon. It was empty and I finished the park in 2 hours EASY. Rock and Roller Coaster lacks the theming that WDW has - there is no external 'record studio' theme with a well hidden coaster bldg as there is in WDW. There is also no 'I need a bigger car' limo theme to the coaster and entry/exit. The coaster itself is the same iirc, although once rolling it has no driving through Hollywood theme. Enough with the negatives THE STUNT SHOW IS AMAZING!!! I never really cared for automobile stunt shows ala the chitwoods BUT THIS SHOW IS AMAZING! You are on the edge of your seat in the car balletts and the crew does a great job of making it feel like a 'studio' experience. Honestly I had no excitement about the opening in WDW MGM but now I CANNOT WAIT!

I am too lazy to post all the links, so use this link and change the numbers out from 01 to 24

Since my studios tour was SO QUICK I park hopped back over to Disneyland BOY AM I GLAD I DID. With some of the effects of jetlag subsiding, I HAD A GREAT RETURN EXPERIENCE! Phantom Manor and Pirate of the Carribean are the jewels of this park! They truly build on the originals and claim them as their own! Plus I finally got to check out the castle and it is AMAZING!

Again, I am lazy at the moment so to see my new DL pics goto

OBTW, here's the Eiffel Tower

And here is a very strange juxtaposition I find in a random video shop in Paris

Hum, if all you did was the Stunt Show and RRC, I understand you visited the park in 2 hours (Stunt Show alone is 45 minutes).

Did you visit Armageddon, Cinémagique, Animagique, unique to Paris?
Did you visit Art of Animation and Tram Tour, european versions of the american rides?

Good observation! I was more interested in getting through there quickly so that I could get back over to DL. I queued for Armageddon for only a minute and assumed the experience would be similar to the Pearl Harbor-type scene at MGM so I skipped it. I did do the animation tour (not sure which of the two from above) but I walked through the last theater when I realized it was almost the same as MGM. I did do the tram tour, though catastrophe canyon was identical.

In questioning my timeline, I would like to point out that I rode RnRC three times! No wait time.

I went on everything, starting at opening, and it took me til mid-afternoon simply because of the staggering of the shows. I'm not sure 2-hours would be possible. I guess it depends on if you catch the show times properly.

And Armageddon is not at all like the Pearl Harbor thing.
