Hi,

Have a look, see what you think, any ideas, amendments please feel free to input.

I've had so many other restaurants in mind but this is what I have decided on (so far).

Who's travelling? Me, DH, DD10 & DD2 (both will have just had their birthdays)

Where are we staying? Disney's Beach Club for 15 nights with free dinning (DDP) and 14 day park hopper tickets.

We have been to Disney many times before, last vacation was October 2010, we have done the DDP before and are returning to some restaurants, we love to try new ones aswell as return to favourites (at one point I hade like 20 TS restaurants I wanted to eat at!!)
We like to get to parks early, do some rides then have breakfast. Even on our days off, we will have breakfast around 9am.

So here we go.

We are coming from the UK and our flght is quite late so we land arround 6pm, I am guessing we won't get to the Beach club until about 8?

23 Oct arrive and get a QS somewhere, I had looked at Boardwalk To Go but its not on the dinning plan, anyone know why? Or we pay OOP somewhere.

24 Oct - Breakfast at Cape May (1st time) 8am then head to Epcot, QS lunch at Epcot, pool. Dinner at DTD Planet Hollywood, using our $15 voucher so will pay OOP.

25 Oct - EMH at DHS then breakfast at Play & Dine 9:25, QS lunch , pool. Dinner is another QS in Epcot. May change this to a TS somewhere.

26 Oct - Day off. No TS booked at all. Will head to MK around 4pm.

27 Oct - MK day, we have DD10 booked in for BBB at 9:55am, I was thinking of booking an early breakfast at Crystal Palce ( I have this booked for later in the holiday but willing to change it). Lunch was going to be Liberty Tree (share a sandwich and pay OOP) just so I can have the Ooey Gooey toffee cake! May just do a QS, what do you think? Dinner is at 7pm at O'hana (1st time).

28 Oct - EMH AK - Breakfast at Tusker House at 9:50 (we cancelled this last time, should we do it this time?) QS lunch. pool. Dinner- Nothing planned yet.

29 Oct - EMH Epcot - Breakfast Princess Norway at 9:50. QS lunch. pool. Dinner is at DHS Sci-Fi (1st time) at 6:30. (this was 50's Prime time but we have been before so changed it)

30 Oct - We will collect our hire car from the Dolphin hotel next door around 9:30 hen head off to do some shopping, breakfast will probably be from the Boardwalk Bakery. Dinner is in Epcot, Garden Grill (1st time) at 6:45.

31 Oct - EMH MK 8am. Breakfast will be something from the Bakery. Lunch is at Wilderness Lodge Whispering Canyon (1st time) at 1:20, may head over earlier depending on how everyone feels. Is this worth a visit, i'm only going to I can have a look at the resort!! Dinner, well, I have reservations for T-Rex as I thought DTD would have had some Halloween activities, but looking into it, it seems they wont this year, so I may cancell and just stay local and see what the Beach Club has on or head into Epcot. What do you think?

01 Nov - Breakfast at Chef Mickey's 9:10. free day. Dinner Coral Reef (1st time) 6:50.

02 Nov - Free day. Dinner 1900 Park Fare at 6:45.(would canel and book something else if we get to see Cinderella in the parks)

03 Nov - EMH AK 8am. QS lunch was thinking of popping over to The Mara at AKL but may just do a QS in AK. What do youthink? Dinner is at MK Be Our Guest (1st time):D

04 Nov - Nothing at all planned or booked for today.

05 Nov - Breakfast at O'hana at 9:2-. Free day. Dinner nothing planned yet. return the hire car.

06 Nov - our last full day and we always cram as much in as we can. I have that early breakfast at Crystal Palace I mentioned earlier, its booked for 8:30. We have never gotten into the parks before opening before so I dont know if I should keep this or do it on the 27th. We will then get the monorail to Epcot. Dinner is at Rose & Crown at 6pm.

07 Nov - Breakfast at Cape May 9am - check out and laze round the pool untill pick up at 2:30.

Some of the non buffet TS restaurants we will pay OOP for DD10 as she will want to pick off the childrens menu, this gives us a few extra TS credits, so if I go over the 15 pppd allocated then thats ok. QS meals the 2 DD's will share and the adults may even share a couple.

On our free days, these are for shopping, waterparks, going back to a park the kids choose, DTD and a round of mini golf at fantasia. So we could eat anywhere.

Restaurants still on my list -
Cape May Clam Bake (never been, we do not eat seafood but heard its good for anyone?)
House of Blues(went a long time ago) could be lunch on a free day. This would be OOP as have a 20% discount.
Earl of Sandwich is a must, may cancel Planet Hollywood and go here!
Wolfgang Puck Express
Of course Beaches and Cream! (never been)
Sanaa (never been, not sure the kids would appreciate it, DD2 is not a quiet child!!)
T-Rex (if we didn't keep it for the 31st)
Raglan Road (never been)
Mama Melrose's (never been)
Via Napoli (never been, would pay OOP)

So you see I have so many I want to eat at and don't get me started on the QS ones!!!

Please input as much as you want. DH has not and does not want to help with this, he said leave it all to me, I should have booked 3 weeks!!!

Thanks

Could not agree more, they need to take a huge wrecking ball to Planet Hollywood. Terrible terrible food. Raglan Road or Paradiso 37 are far better choices in that area.

I agree with everyone telling you to skip Planet Hollywood. It's just standard American restaurant food that you can get anywhere. The atmosphere isn't that great either. They have some old movie costumes and props hanging around, but were all from the late 80's/early 90's last time I was there. A bunch of movies that were marginally popular when they came out, but don't have any staying power.

The first night you are there, go to the quick service in the Beach Club gift shop (Beach Club Marketplace). They have good soups and sandwiches, and it is on the DDP.

Your post is totally making me crave ooey gooey toffee cake!

Thanks.

Think I will cancel PH and book maybe Raglan or something elsewhere.

Is the ooey gooey toffee cake really that good?!

Wow what a trip! I'm jealous. Looks great, and going off to experience other resorts for dinner is great. I've always loved exploring the different resorts. Helps decide where to stay next time.

I've never eaten at Earl, but I'd cancel Planet Hollywood and eat there instead. I've heard horrible things about Planet Hollywood, but everything I've heard about Earl has been very positive.

For your AK day, I recommend the Yak and Yeti quick service. I had it on my last trip and I loved it. It's over in Asia by Kali River Rapids.

I also recommend Mama Melrose if you are interested in that since you listed it. It's a great restaurant and it can be used in the Fantasmic Dinner package if you plan on doing that.

Looks good to me, although I've never been to Planet Hollywood, the restaurant that's getting all the bad feedback, so I can't comment there.

If you get a chance to try Raglan Road, I recommend it. Their Serious Steak and Bread 'n Butter Pudding were among the best dishes I've ever had!
