So I was part of the group that switched from CBR when news of the renovations broke out. I don't regret my decision at all! Back when we were switching, we settled on PORFQ because for a standard room, the resort was more compact. We didn't want to risk being very far out in Riverside. We really wanted a Royal Guest Room, but that would have increased our price tag by more than a grand.

Not sure what changed on Disney pricing. Last night was the first time in more than a month that I could change my reservation online. So guess what I did lol! I immediately looked at reservations to see if I could find something better! I was able to book a Royal Guest Room Pool View, and the price increase was only $360 higher! Sold!

I'm so excited. Is it June yet?

We stayed in a royal room a couple of years ago and loved it!!! I requested building 90 and got it - I wanted to be closer to the East Depot and the bridge to the lobby. Some rooms in building 95 can be quite the walk to all of the main things. But with a pool view room you won't be out too far and have a good chance of being close to the bridge.
