So Cal Discount is back

Because tourists don't need discounts :p:D;)
But I sure would appreciate one. And with the money I save, I might treat my family to one extra Disney high end dining meal that originally planned, or if I was really feeling like throwing all our money down the toilet, staying at a Disney hotel. Or, I don't know coming more often!

I can still get a Knott's SP ($92), Six Flags SP ($84.99), SeaWorld SD Fun Card ($89.99) or Universal California Neighbor Pass ($129) for less than the cheapest DLR offer ($159).

LEGOLAND AP is the same price as the Cheapest offer - $159

So I can get 2 days at Disneyland (Why waste a day at DCA with so much closed?) or a year at another park. Seems like an easy decision, especially with kids and needing to buy multiple tickets.

Or for a bit less ($238.99) as the 3 Day DLR ParkHopper ($244), I can get the Knott's Gold Pass good for both parks, along with the all you can eat and drink options for the same price. ($92/$110 + $29.99 +$99)

2017 prices -
The 3-day, 1-park per day ticket costs $149. The 3-day, park hopper ticket costs $189.

So, a price increase of 37% for the one park, and 29% for the park hopper. Pretty steep increase, especially with what will be closed in both parks....

So they are advertising with the Mickey Fun Wheel, the same attraction that will be down during the promotion?
i thought the same thing but do we know if the wheel will be down for the whole promotion though? i had heard that they would be doing sections at a t time and open them as they are done. Anyone have any idea where walls have gone up if any today?

Amtrak and Disneyland Resort are partnering for a limited promotion that offers discounted rail travel and park admission for Southern California residents.

Through May 21, each child age 2-12 can board an Amtrak Pacific Surfliner train traveling to the Anaheim Regional Transportation Intermodal Center for free with the purchase of an adult ticket. The ART Route 15 connector bus will shuttle Amtrak passengers from the ARTIC to the theme park for free.

The discount can be redeemed using the “V231″ promo code at the time of purchase.

Children’s fares are normally half of the lowest-priced adult ticket.

Other Amtrak promotions such as its 10 percent discount for AAA members will not apply to the Disney offer.

“Through this partnership, we hope to make passenger rail service more accessible and approachable for Southern Californians, while also providing added value to our existing Pacific Surfliner customers,” said Bryan MacDonald, chairman of the Los Angeles – San Diego – San Luis Obispo (LOSSAN) Rail Corridor Agency, which oversees the Pacific Surfliner service.

Once train tickets are booked, passengers are eligible to purchase Disneyland SoCal Resident tickets at a 5 percent discount to visit Disneyland or Disney California Adventure.<<
