He hated it. Like... after he got off, he was furious at us for making him go on it. He has avoided that area of the park ever since. He doesn't even like looking that direction.

Yeah, I am autistic (the type formerly known as Aspergers) and one thing we are known for is cognitive rigidity. When things we like and have deep meaning to us change or disappear we get REALLY angry and we take it VERY personally, which is why I am seriously considering avoiding certain Disney Parks because going there might make me angry and why I am keeping an especially close eye on Epcot, Right now.
