I have been hearing some comments how scary the snow white ride is. Can somebody who's been on it explain the ride.

The ride is dark and has scenes where the witch appears out of nowhere. But it of course has a happy ending. If you are riding with small kids, you might want to tell them to close their eyes if they get scared.

It's a lot less scary than it used to be (that mine car used to scare the bejeebes out of me as a kid), but it's still got a couple somewhat-scary moments.

The witch pops out of nowhere in a couple scenes, and an alligator will come close to your vehicle. It's not that bad really. You should be able to persuade your kids to go by stopping at the snack bar across the street after the ride. :)

Is it just me, or have they turned the general light level up on the whole ride...seems to me you can see a little too much (ie the tracks all the animatronics run on and the path your car will follow)

My sister was terrified of that ride. We told her to laugh whenever she saw the queen/witch (or yell and try to scare her) then all the rest of us did it too and that seemed to help. :)

I think you'd spend the whole ride laughing. The witch shows up twice as many times as Snow White.

She used to not be in it at all.

My wife reminded me of that after I posted. Apparently the ride was supposed to be from Snow White's perspective. That is, the rider WAS Snow White. Neat concept but I suppose not enough people understood. I had never ridden it until after the change.

Yeah I knew that, but if you try to explain that to a 4 or 5 year old.

that ride is so cheezy...you are right about the lighting level, and it just ruins the whole experience for me...that and the fact that half of the characters don't move...and the ones that do just have one type of motion...disney needs to replace it...I want to see them make one of those rides out of 101 Dalmations :) I love that movie! Cruella DeVil! Cruella DeVil! If she doesn't scare you...oh...she's one of the best villains that has not yet found a home in...really any attraction...she's briefly in Fantasmic! but so are all the kewl villains...

Snow White Rules

The Snow White does have a few scary parts. I remember being scared as a child at some parts, but besides that Snow White is the bomb!!! Gotta love it, along with the Peter Pan ride
