Snow at the Christmas Party

We'll be attending our first Christmas Party at the MK this year (12/18), and I'm curious about the snow on Main Street. Is it real or fake (I realize it would be man-made, but by "real" i mean not synthetic...will it melt on your tongue?). :) Is it a very light flurry, or does it come down pretty well? Does the snow fall continuously on Main Street, or only at certain times (or randomly)?

We're FL residents, so seeing any form of snow would be exciting for my daughter. :)

Thanks!

Don't eat it! It is made of tiny soap bubbles. It is from "Theatrical Snow Machines". It plays havoc on my eyeglasses, but gets them very clean, lol.

AS others have said its soap bubbles so I would not advise eating, but I'm sure its harmless if someone stuck a tongue. They also have it snow in MGM at the Osbourn Lights also a great thing to take the family to see.

Dec. 18th !!! My birthday...I will be there as well. I will be the one with a birthday button and wedding/honeymoon ears!

On one of the shows I used to work on we made snow out of Windex and Mr. Bubble. Now this was indoors and dissolved when it hit the stage but I think the outdoor machines have the same basic consistency as the indoor machines.

My DW and I have named it Snoap. As others have mentioned it is a foamy soapy concoction. It floats down like real light snow, looks pretty much like snow, even melts in your mouth like snow, but don't recommend the taste part.

The snow is really great! And it doesn't accumulate!!!!! It is definately soap because I have tasted it on my lips later.

It also gets on your glasses too.

But as it flutters down, it really looks lovely. You'd never look at it and think, "oh, it's just soap." It's a great effect.
