With regards to the "is it hard to do", have you snorkeled previously? Snorkeling in itself is not difficult, but it can be a bit of a mental hurdle your first time allowing yourself to breath when your face is under water. If you've never snorkeled before, you may want to try once or twice in a local pool just so you can get used to the feeling, but it's something that is really easy to adjust to. The tank is beautiful to swim in and the water is nice and warm, so the experience is quite nice.

I've done it. It is called The Seas Aqua Tour. It is about 3 hours with about 2.5 of a backstage tour. You are in the water for about 30 minutes. That being said, you are doing SNUBA. You have a tank on your back and breathing air through a regulator. They provide the wetsuit, mask, fins, tank, etc. They give you a beverage and take a complimentary picture before you start. Afterwards you hit the shower with towels and soaps provided. Any questions, just ask. It is a lot of fun.

It's funny, I just read an article last week about EPCOT offering a snorkel excursion in the tank.

They use to do a SCUBA tour. I am hoping to that one day, if not SNUBA would do.
