Snack Cart Hours?

Since I’m off the diet when I’m in the World, and we’re on the dining plan, I figured that an ice cream would make the perfect breakfast, and would tide me over till lunch.

But the last time we were there I noticed the snack carts didn’t open up until close to lunch time. Does anyone know specifically when these carts open? Is is a universal time for the whole park, or do certain areas open first? I’m sure I’m not the only one who wants to spoil my breakfast with a Mickey Premium Bar. :slurp:

We were just there this last weekend and wanted a premium bar for breakfast but at MGM they told us the ice cream stands don't open until 10:30 am.

Since the snack bars dont open til 1030 AM, there are other ways to get what you're looking for.

-If you are in a room with a refrigerator, buy the premium bars at a general store in disney and bring it to your room and freeze. then eat it in the morning! I stay at Old Key West (hence the avatar and the name), and they sell all that stuff at the General Store, and we usually bring some up to the room.

-The General Store usually opens nice and early too. So if you wanted, you could pick one up on your way to the parks and eat it on the bus or in the car!

-or, if you want to avoid the store, just wake up late! :p

Magic Kingdom, there is usually at least 2-3 at opening, and at least one open till half hour after park close. Epcot should have a cart on the right of SE open in the morning, and a few in the showcase open till after park close or till the end of the fireworks...the other parks I would assume are the same.

if they have their acts together, MGM is supposed to have at least one ice cream stand open by the time they open. one is right next to the tip board on hollywood and sunset, and the other at the end of sunset in between ToT and RnR

It would probably be much easier to just get your ice cream at your resort before you leave for a park in the morning. I know that Roaring Forks at WL has ice cream all the time. I'm sure that my husband will be using all his snacks from the dining plan on ice cream on our next trip.:slurp:

Thanks guys!

Looks like I'll have to try several things to get my ice cream fix first thing in the morning. Side question, since this is my first time in a moderate, do the fridges they have in the room have a freezer compartment, or are they just fridges? I don't want my Mickey bars to melt!
