Just curious what app you use for attraction wait times when you are in the parks.
Use the official Disney app or do you find another app to be more accurate, faster, easier, etc?
Thanks.

Has anyone used the "Disney World Lines" app from Touring Plans? As @Tom mentioned, it may be based off of guest feedback, but is it any more accurate than the MDE app?

It really depends on your metric for accuracy. The official app is 95% of the time displaying the wait time as reported inside the park, and therefor most accurate in that way. As for closest accuracy to my real wait time I find the Touring Plans Lines app to be slightly more accurate on their estimations of that. Also the simplicity of the Lines app tends to load/reload faster over the in-park WiFi, so that's a consideration.

(This is only for the WDW apps. When I was out at Disneyland last month I found both the official app and the Lines app rather disappointing for accuracy.)

I use this one a lot (touring plans). Seems to be pretty accurate for me as far as actual wait times are concerned.

I have to agree. The DL version of Touring Plans seemed a little off. Fortunately, it wasn't very busy when I was there so it wasn't too bad.

We just use mde for wait times. I already have it on my phone anyway for fast passes, adr's etc...and for when problems pop up. We had fast passes for space and it wouldn't read our bands. My options were to pull it up and show them under mde (which we did and they let us through) or leave the line and go to a kiosk etc...so yep...mde just stays on my phone.

MDE is by far the best.

The other ones are user submitted and can be very inaccurate. When at WDW, who honestly has time to go around wasting time getting all the ride times for the benefit of strangers? It would be the last thing on my mind to be honest.

But anyway, most of the big third party ones now however just leech the data from MDE so show the same times.

Well, the users of the LINES app by Touring Plans (@lentesta ) tends to have fairly high participation, and I've always found the wait times to match those published by Disney to be fairly close. Their historic data predict wait times as well.
