Small World Closing? Movie Ride Open?

Does anyon know when Small World is closing for refurb? And is the Great Movie Ride open again? I'm going April 3-10 if anyone knows when Small World is closing please tell me...Thanks!!

Not really. Mickey's Star Traders, Astro Orbiter, and a lot of other stuff never makes it on.

Thanks everyone....I've never tried disneyworld.com to check the crefurbishments, I should check that out some time. I knew that Move Ride had been open....err...well I guess I didn't ... :lol: but thanks anyway, and thankfully I will get on "it's a small world" before they change it.

A 9 month rehab? Yowza. Any idea if anything "special" planned or just a general upgrade of set pieces, broken AA, lights, etc.?

Glad to see IASW is finally going under a rehab. It was depressing to go on that ride and see how much it was falling apart. It was beginning to look like the Monster Plantation in Six Flags over Georgia:hurl:

I liked it too, back when it first opened and everything was clean and new. Now its all falling apart and things don't work. That's what I'm talking about...Sad to see it in such disrepair.

I thought I had heard a rumor that they were going to switch the exit and entrance to small world to help the flow better. Anyone hear this??

We were just told yesterday at work that the Small World rehab is going to be part of the new "celebration"

Yes, they are doing another one. :hammer:

All the Disney parks are going the celebrating Disneyland's 50th celebration. WDW is going to be putting a new attraction in each park as part of the celebration

Animal Kingdom - Expedtion Everest. Which will open at the tail-end of next year, hopefully.

MGM-Studios - the Stunt Show

Epcot - Soarin'

Magic Kingdom - It's a Small World, to be redone in a style inspired by the Disneyland version, with some updated Audio-Animatronics and music. :veryconfu

I just hope this means we will get their Christmas version.
