Small Waterproof bag/pouch

Does anyone use a waterproof bag to hold electronics when in the parks? I just need something small that can hold my camera and my phone and that works. Its not going to get submerged, just for splashes here and there. My Cell is smaller than an iphone and my camera is a point and shoot, maybe just a little large than a standard point and shoot though. Thanks!

They have tons of waterproof pouches on the amazon site. Some are even on lanyards.

I just looked at some Kwik Tek pouches, they seemed to have mostly good reviews and they are inexpensive.
I have a small clear backpack, about the size of a small purse, for the parks. If there's suppose to be heavy rain, I carry a full-size clear backpack to keep the rain gear in when it's not raining. It really saves time at the security check points, and they don't put their hands-- that have been in 1,000's of bags-- on my stuff.
I got the small backpack from amazon. I got the full-size one at a Walgreens.

Same here - I use a one quart ziploc bag, for which there are a thousand uses. Since we need that size for our "3-1-1" liquid-and-gel bags when taking our carryons through airport security, I typically have a bunch on hand that I bought before the trip. I bring a dozen extras with me, and use them for: (1) the aforementioned "keeping electronics dry inside my park bag"; (2) storing leftovers in our in-room fridge; (3) bagging cereal or other snacks for a quick, "walking breakfast" as we head to the bus depot in the morning; (4) corralling loose items like cell phone chargers and airplane headphones; (5) making an impromptu ice pack, if necessary; (6) holding wet undies if a child has an "accident," (6) ensuring that the spray bottle of sunscreen doesn't leak inside my park bag, etc.

Thanks!! I was going to get a small backpack too, I didn't think about getting a clear one. That's a great idea!

How big must the ziplock in order to keep you from getting wet on Splash?

It depends one what you're putting in it. We usually use quart size bags and both our cell phones and a point and shoot camera (though we don't take this anymore, we just use our phones) fit inside.

I was thinking you meant stick your whole body in the ziplock bag! ;)
