Slightly confusing question about the Magical Express

We are flying out in September and my wife is travelling in her maiden name (long story). Her passport and flight tickets are booked in her maiden name.

I was wondering if, when using the Magical Express, will we have to state her maiden name? I would prefer to book using her married name, but I can see some confusion as to the names on flight tickets and bags as such.

Sorry if this is confusing, i don't know very much about the magical express.

Magical Express is booked using only the name used to book the package. The tags are bar coded to get them delivered to the room associated with the package. Her identification on the trip has nothing to do with it.

So long as her ID matches the flight tickets, all will be fine!

Enjoy your vacation!

So basically, if we book the hotel with our married names, we get sent the labels from Disney, and we attach them to the bag, all Disney do is look for the actual labels, scan them and we're in business? even if her luggage tags from Continental say Turnbull, instead of Taylor?

Again, sorry. This is the first time of us travelling by ourselves and want to make sure everything is as it should be.

Basically, yes.

The Continental tags and DME tags, though side-by-side, have nothing to do with each other. :D

EDIT: And stop apologizing! There is no such thing as a stupid question [unless perhaps it's one I can't answer! :lookaroun] :D

I totally agree with you that the OP will have absolutely no problems at all with his situation.

I just want to clear something else up, though. Each guest's name DOES go on the DME reservation (and it doesn't matter if it's a package or a room-only reservation). When you look at your travel documents from WDTC, it doesn't list DME as only for the lead name on the reservation, it lists it for each person individually. And each DME tag has two names on it ... the name of the lead person on the reservation, and then the name of the guest. For me, the lead name on our reservation, my name appears twice on my two DME tags.

I'm just throwing this out there because I like people to get precise information. I don't want to confuse matt_taylor is any way ... you will have NO TROUBLE AT ALL!

Oops... there was supposed to be an 's' at the end of name... Absolutely correct in both A) the name of the booker and the guest are on the tag and, B) it won't create any problem if said names don't match... :D
