sleeping beauty question

Does anyone know if they will ever release sleeping beauty from the vault?
I have a copy but my kids ruined it on me, the dvd is all scratched up.
Thanks for any info:)

Try a bit of toothpaste and a soft cloth first (on the silver, movie side). They just put that in "the vault" less than a year ago. Sometimes it's up to 10 years before they re-release it again. I would try eBay or some other online searches to buy a "gently used" one.

Disney anounced in May of 2003 that Sleeping Beauty would be one of the four titles added to the Platinum Edition line. Currently the years Platinums will be Peter Pan (March, 6, 2007) and Jungle Book (October 2007). Next year Disney will saposedly start to rereleae it's earlier Platinum Editions (Snow White, Beauty and the Beast, Lion King etc.) in October and relase new ones in March. The four added titles were Fantasia, Pinocchio, Sleeping Beauty, and Peter Pan (which has taken the place of 101 Dalmatians so it can promote the Tinker Belle movie). So you can expect Sleeping Beauty to come out between 2008 (although it looks like Pinocchio has that March) and 2011 (at the latest). For more information I strongly recomend you go to Ultimate Disney.com and scoll down to look up "Different relase types" under "more info".

where on Ebay are you looking at? I bought Sleeping Beauty last week for $15 including shipping, brand new never been opened. I actually watched it last night:)

no way, where did you find it for 15.00? holy cow!
i just typed in sleeping beauty and a narrowed my search for NY and brand new and the bids start out at .99 cents but by the time i bid its already up to 25.00 then i just give up....

I would try on a Monday or Tuesday when the auction ends during the day,that's when I bought mine:)
