Sleeping Beauty preparade starting August 26 @ MK

Just a heads up, there's gonna be a finding nemo preparade at MK starting on August 26. This Entertainment Enhancement, which will run from August 26 - September 30, will step off prior to the Share A Dream Come True Parade, and will feature Princess Aurora, Prince Phillip, Flora, Fauna, Merryweather, and Maleficent. Joining them will be 8 - 10 Guest children portraying "Honorary Princesses of the Kingdom."

This pre-parade will replace the current Grand Marshal offering through September 30.

How do the 8-10 children get picked and what exactly is the preparade? I've never heard of this before so any info would be appreciated.

do you mean this is taking over for the Nemo pre-parade, or this is a pre-pre-parade? (in front of Nemo?)

Typically, while guests are lining up along the parade route, you'll see cast members "inside" the parade route that represent the lands you are currently in. These CM's are designated for parade crowd control duty on those days. In past parades that involved guest participation, the kids would be picked by these land-based CM's as well as roaving Entertainment CM's/leads prior to the parade coming throught that section. The kids will be given an idea of what they'll be doing once the parade comes.

This is a general overview of what i've ben a part of or seen in the past. Some of the board members that are currently in entertainment will be able to give you exact details once they're available i'm sure.

from what I gather, the Nemo preparade's been gone for about 2 weeks now. Pre-parades are temporary enhancements that tie in with some sort of marketing campaign. I still remember the Tigger Movie preparade (the best one EVER!!) lol

actually... pre-parades generally don't have showstops like the regular day parade does. These kids will more than likely be picked like the grand marshals are... entirely randomly, usually by Main Street OPS/Guest Relations.
