Single Dad & 3 Year Old

Hi,

I am taking my little guy to WDW in January, there will just be the 2 of us there. He is 3 a month before we go. I had booked to take him in September but we had to cancel.

This will be his 3rd time there but the first time its just me and him.

What tips do you guys have?


We are staying at AOA (Little Mermaid) though will change to PoP if free dining becomes available.

Some of the things I have thought of are

Taking a stroller with us to save paying for one, although he doesn't use one at home anymore it will come in handy at the airport etc.

Booked DME to take the stress out of transfers

Taking afternoon breaks

We have 4 ADR's booked

Breakfast @ Crystal Palace / Hollywood & Vine / CRT

Dinner @ Be Our Guest


Where else would you recomend?


I'm planning to do a pre / trip report.

He's already said he wanted to see the princesses lol so I booked CRT. I showed him the video of Belles cottage the other day and he got so excited, went home and told his mum he's going to see the talking candle.

awww sounds like fun. i would recommend 50s prime time and whispering canyon as well. does he like pizza? via napoli. btw he is so adorable. i love how he is going to meet the talking candle! have a blast!

He is going to love the Buzz Lightyear ride. He reminds me of my oldest son Brendan, with his love of Princesses. LOL

We did 50's prime time last year, I loved the meat loaf. He's does like pizza but loves pasta so I'll have a look at Via Napoli. We ate at Tuto Italia 2 years ago.

He was on Buzz with us at 9 month old and his eyes lit up. I'm sure he will have a blast on it this time.

Aww I'm always taking pictures of him, and I'm going to get the photopass plus so we can have loads of pics together.

His favorite movies are cars and Beauty and the Beast

We still have 122 sleeps, but by the time halloween, Christmas and his birthday come round it will be almost time to go.
