Silver Springs?

Has anyone ever been? Is it worth it to take a day out of Disney Touring to slow the pace down? It is just me and my wife and we will be there for 2 weeks. I visited their web site, so another question, I only saw hours from Jan thru Sept. We will be down at the end of Nov 2013 into December...are they even open?

Yes it's open in December. They have a festival of lights around that time? I'm a lifelong resident of the silver springs/Ocala area. Quite frankly it's terrible. A waste of time and overpriced. It was awesome in the early 90's and late 80's. I would hate to see someone spend time and money to go there. It's okay if you're local and they have a good concert there. Other than that its a tourist trap.
