Silver Pass Question

Hi! My step-dad is a Silver Pass holder to Disney Parks for working at ABC for many years.

As I've gotten older I don't want to go to the parks with my parents anymore. I'm wondering if anyone knows how I can either transfer this pass to myself or if there's a way to get in to the parks without the CM/Card holder being there?

Also, is there any difference between using this pass for entrance to DisneyLand and Disney World?
