Disney has a live-action hit! Can you believe it? Are you having a heart attack? You read that right, Disney has made a live action movie that doesn't suck! ;)

With M. Night Shyamalan directing the film, there was a .00000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000001% that Signs was going to suck to begin with, but damn... it just feels great seeing a QUALITY Disney film kicking at the box office.

Okay, now the update:

Signs opened Friday with $20.9 million, putting it on top of the charts by a HUGE margin over Goldmember ($9.7 million). At this rate we should see a $55 million opening for Signs. That is $50 million more than the Bears. Speaking of the Bears, the brought in a pathetic $946,000 on Friday, dropping down to 8th place. Look for a $2.7 million weekend here.

"Lilo and Stitch" and "Reign of Fire" did not make the top ten.

Lol, that is good news. I think they can thank good advertising for this.
