Signature Restaurants w/Kids?

Hello All!

I’ve got a question for the folks who have visited some of the Signature Restaurants on the Dining Plan.

We will be traveling in August with 3 adults, a 3 year old and a 17 month old. We’ve eaten at the California Grill, Jiko, Flying Fish and Artist Point and always felt comfortable with the kid(s) - with the possible exception of Artist Point. The kids are always well behaved, but the noise level at the other places helps to sometimes mask their loud voices. Artist Point was a little quieter and intimate. I like to consider our impact on the other diners.

My question is, of the other restaurant possibilities we’re considering this trip - Citricos and Narcoossee’s – are either or neither of them more or less appropriate for kids?

And of course beyond that question, in everyone’s personal opinion, which of the two is better overall?

We took our kids to Yatchsman Steakhouse in Oct. Our son is 6 and daughter was 11. They were both well behaved. My sister took my 9 yr old neice to Narcoosse's last year. They all loved it.

The atmosphere at Narcoosees's is fairly loud so it would mask the small noises that even well behaved kids make. We've been to lots of signatures over the last three years and had no problems at all.

Signature dining my DS has enjoyed and where we, as a family, had good experiences at:

California Grill; DS wrote a five star review for the chef. When our server gave it to the chef, he came over to the table and thanked my son and displayed the review in the kitchen for the rest of the night.
Jiko; he enjoyed the beef filet and the entire AKL experience.
Brown Derby; Like the whole Hollywood atmosphere, his meal was better than mine.
Shula’s; In DS’s words “This is a guy restaurant!” he then did a fist pump.
Portbello’s ; He says it’s the best italian in WDW

Restaurants DS did not enjoy/bad experience;
Artist Point; Too quiet, DS did not enjoy the buffalo (he had eaten buffalo many times before but won’t touch it since)
Citrico’s; In his words “This place is to foo foo dad.”

Thanks for the advice!

I noticed too that Artist Point was quiet.

It sounds like either of the places we're looking at currently should be ok and maybe I can select based on menu alone.
