Lake Buena Vista, Florida – Shula’s Steak House continues to enjoy winning seasons. First, the restaurant was named “Best Restaurant Overall” and “Best High-End Steak House” by the Orlando Sentinel. The restaurant’s most recent claim to fame is the completion of the new “Hall of Fame” private dining room.
The new private dining room was created in response to the growing demand for private dining events. The facility consists of four rooms which can be used separately or can be combined to accommodate up to 80 people. The rooms will be dedicated for private dining events, which have become a major source of demand for the restaurant.
The design of the private dining room continues to reflect the cherry wood and brass décor of the restaurant. Each room is distinctly designed with automatic doors that rise up into the ceiling for maximum room space. Memorabilia from the 1972 perfect winning season of the Miami Dolphins under Coach Don Shula continues to elegantly flank the walls. The rooms are accented by wooden lattice wine racks encased in glass.
To celebrate the grand opening, famed Coach Don Shula, and son and President of Shula’s, LLC, Dave Shula, were on hand to cut the ribbon. Earl Morrall, former ’72 Miami Dolphins Quarterback and Running Back Jim Kiick, were also present.
Shula’s Steak House has been named “One of the Top 5 Steak Houses in America”. The restaurant is acclaimed for its upscale décor, oversized portions and delightful menu items, featuring Certified Angus Beef® - the industry’s best - and favorites such as seafood, lamb and chicken. Steak lovers who eat the 48-oz porterhouse steak will be inducted into the Coach’s 48-oz Club. The restaurant is also a recipient of the Wine Spectator Award of Excellence for its wine list.
Group dining menus feature all of the items from the Shula’s menu. Groups interested in booking the private dining room may contact the group dining office at: 407-934-1609.
