Can anyone confirm if the new Nemo muscial replaces the Lion King show, i took a seat and watched the Lion King show in 2002 and missed it in 2005 when we touch down in June 2007 i was hoping to watch it again but have a sneaky feeling that it has been replaced.... if so i am sure it will be as good and will take a look... has anyone seen it and how did it rate..

I was there this past December and saw both shows. The Lion King show was wonderful but IMO the nemo musical was terrible. i was not impressed with it, but they are both there. i hope you find that you like them both. Have a wonderful trip.

I'm obsessed with the Nemo musical! I've seen it 5 times since it opened (the first time was only it's third day of previews). Though I'm a huge fan of musicals and Broadway, so it feeds my addiction while I'm at Disney. :)

Get there at least 45mins-1hr early to even secure a seat. Even with the addition of more show times, it's been getting busier and more crowded. I've gotten there even 30-40 mins early and still been turned away.

On a side note, I despise the Festival of the Lion King. If I wanted to see parade floats I would stand along the street at 3:45. The actors and performers are really talented, but the whole thing is overly unimaginative...

They're both still there. I much prefer Festival of the Lion King, which is still, imo, the best "live" show anywhere on property.

I personally like both about equally. I think the music, sets and puppets are outstanding at Nemo, whereas I enjoy the variety and sheer energy of FOLK. They're definately number 1 and 2 on my list of the best live shows at WDW, with a slight edge to Nemo.

I tend to look at this show in a different way. To me, the parade floats are simply there to add to the environment in which the amazingly talented human performances take place. To be honest, it's almost as if they are simply a part of the staging.

This show is a must see for my family every time we are at AK. Of course, having my kids picked to take part in the show a few years ago has made it even more special.

I agree it is the best if you don't count Fantasmic

I didn't count Fantasmic, only because none of the vocals or anything else are live. In Nemo and FOLK, all of the singing is done live. But, if you count Fantasmic, then yes, that would be my favorite, with FOLK a close second.
