Should we bother with the Liberty Tree Tavern?

We are heading back to WDW in August. I already made my ADR's but I am second-guessing one of them. I am seeing not so great reviews of the Liberty Tree Tavern Dinner, which I have a 6:15 ADR for. It will be for myself, my husband, my 8 year old daughter, and twin 5 year old sons. I also have the following booked:

Minnie's Seasonal Dine (D)
Garden Grill (B)
Hoop Dee Doo
Tusker House (B)
1900 Park Fare (D)
Crystal Palace (B)
'Ohana (D)

In the past we have done the following for dinner - Chef Mickey's, Garden Grill, Le Cellier, Rainforest Cafe, T-Rex Cafe, Whispering Canyon Cafe, Be Our Guest, and Mickey's Backyard BBQ.

I guess I was looking for something we haven't tried before - but not feeling warm and fuzzy about the reviews and the comments about a very heavy dinner on a 90 degree night. Is there another restaurant we should consider?

Thanks!

Love a little Disney every day!! ;)
Do lunch there instead. Regular menu not family style like at dinner. We love lunch there. Plus you will get out of the mid day heat. Menu is on MDE or on here. And a side note we always eat at 'Ohana (love it) and HDD (love) For dinner like you have also and that's very heavy meals served family style as well. ;)

I'd also choose lunch over dinner there. And another option to consider in MK is Plaza Restaurant for inexpensive options and a change of scenery. There's also the new Skipper Canteen restaurant with a more unique menu if that appeals to you!

I usually like to make my dinner time a little later to allow for cooler temperatures after dinner, but I understand you may not be able to with young children. I personally enjoy LTT and my family makes a point to eat there once every trip. It's sort of our "traditional meal" and no one ever complains! Since it is all you can eat family style, we tend to have lighter meals throughout the day so we don't feel too stuffed before we arrive, and we never over eat (which might be hard because of how yummy the food is!).
Either way, have a great trip!
