Short trip!

Hey guys! I suppose this is the right place to post this, but I have a question and would like your suggestions. So, soon I will be going on a trip to WDW, however with visiting family down there and work schedule, it will be shorter than i hoped/thought, I will have only 3 nights and two days at the parks. I will be going to MK one of the days because a) it is literally the kingdom of magic and b) to ride 7DMT (it will be open by the trip). So, what my question is, is which park should I go to for my other day? I havn't been in a while, so i would like the input of some others that have more recent experiences (and why that option). Thanks everyone!
Also, i was considering DAK in morning and then Epcot in the afternoon/dinner. Is this a good idea, or do the parks need a full day for each?

Definitely go to AK in the morning for EE, Safari, and whatever else you like. Don't forget to eat at Flame Tree if you like BBQ! Epcot in the evening is great- if it is an EMH night you are set. Have fun!

Part of my answer kind of depends on whether or not you have already been to some of the parks. I'd definitely say that Epcot is a full-day park, but if you've have been there before then I can see doing DAK in the morning and Epcot in the evening making for a nice day.

If you are going to do a split day, I'd recommend getting to AK as early as possible and making your Fastpasses for the popular rides early on.

As for the evening at Epcot, I'd recommend having an early dinner. You can do dinner and explore the World Showcase early afternoon, and then if you have time you can go back to Future World after dinner when the crowds at the attractions in the front of the park will be much lighter (although some do close at 7pm).

If you're really lucky, you'll be able to do most of the attraction in Future World with enough time to get back to watch Illuminations. Sounds like a perfect day to me!

As Cheshire said, absolutely take advantage of the Extra Magic Hours if they can apply to your days. I didn't mention that because I wasn't sure if you were staying on-site or not.

Hope you have a great trip!

I would probably avoid AK, due to all of the construction happening. I would definitely go to Epcot, and if you wanted to Park Hop do HS in the morning and Epcot in the evening. Whatever you choose, Have Fun!!

I recently had a similar experience being down there for a work trip and had 1 full day and 2 part time days in the parks. Since time is of essence I would recommend skipping the hopper. There is enough to do in each park to keep you busy without "wasting" time going back and forth. The one park I would consider optional is AK (we do love it but when you have to choose it's the first to go). I would also look at the calendar to see which parks had the longest hours and look to hit those. You are not going to make a bad choice either way. Hope some of this helps and have an awesome time. We are only 9 days until our 5 day/4 night BDay trip to WDW.

Thanks everyone who replied!
But as some of you mentioned, I'll give you some more information-I do stay on site, I have been to all of the parks before, but I still love visiting each one and experiencing it (Also I'm sure there have been a few changes in the last few years), and I don't need to worry about buying tickets/hoppers, because I get a silverpass from work at espn
