Shopping in Orlando

Hey
I'm staying at the AKL from 23/11 till 8/12. And I was thinking of taking one day out of my Disney schedule to go shopping. Can anyone tell me where is the best place to go shopping in Orlando?? What are the best malls? And are there any good shopping places near Disney? I don't really want to travel that far.

I don´t like outlet type malls, so for me, the most convenient one is the Florida Mall, about 20 mins. from Lake Buenavista.

If you like outlets, there are outlets very close to Downtown Disney too like the Premium outlet mall. The biggest one which is Belz Factory Outlet, is not that close to the Disney area.

There is also another mall close to Universal but I can´t remember the name right now and I haven´t been in it yet, but it´s supposed to be very good.

If you want designer clothes at cheap prices, try the Orlando Premire Outlet, near WDW. It's a lot better than the Belz Factory Outlet so your best bet would be this one.

If you want to go to the malls, there are two great malls located in Orlando. But both are near the International Drive area which you should check out. They are The Florida Mall and The Mall at Millenia. Millenia is the smallest but a lot fancier. The Florida Mall is one of the biggest in Florida if i'm not mistaken.


And then of course there's always Downtown Disney.

Haven't been to FL Mall, but the other is great. I agree with the comment on the Belz Outlet, too...I found the other to be more inviting (and yes, closer).

Also, try The Mercado on I-Drive (about 15-20 min from Disney)
