Ok, this mystifies me, and I can't figure it out! In the Tower of Terror pre-show at DisneySea, the idol just disappears. Anybody knows how this works? Thanks in advance!

The effect is really simple: the Idol drops in a space beneath it VERY fast. Here is a video showing the effect with night vision. Timing is key.
