My girlfriend and I are arriving at Caribbean Beach Resort on Christmas Day and staying through January 3. I was hoping to get something I'm going to purchase online shipped there. Has any one ever done this? If so, how do I get it so that the people know that it is for me and also do I just put the resort address on there? I honestly have no idea how I would put the shipping address into the website if I were to go ahead with this.

Best thing to do is call the CB resort and ask as every resort is a little different. I shipped a box of items for our last trip to the Contemporary, you should only need the address (not the PO box) of the resort shipped to your attention with your reservation # and check in date.

You may also want to check and see if there is a handling fee, I had to pay $10 to get my box from the contemporary, they did not tell me that when I called and asked about shipping the package down.

Wow, I did this at Pop Century twice and was never charged either time. Could the policy differ from resort to resort?

I believe that resorts with business centers charge, because the package seems to go through them for some reason. The resorts that don't have the business centers don't have a charge since the front desk/bell services handles everything. As odd policy, but this seems to be the case now.

Ahh, that makes sense. Thanks!

I've never had the problem. I always grab the address from the AllEarsNet webpage for the specific resort. I've had things shipped many times. You will want to know what carrier it comes on (postal service, UPS, FedEx, etc.) and you may want to pay for better shipping if it's available. And make sure whatever way it's shipped is trackable, just in case.

Shipping a package home from resort

My sister is going down next weekend and I wanted her to pick up a few things for me but since they are planning to do carry on luggage she is limited on space. Has anyone shipped a package home from a resort? I was thinking about getting her to take one of the postal boxes down with her she can fill it and pack it in her carry on. Once there she can fill it with my stuff and send it back. Has anyone done this?
