Any small extras that you might need for kids like diapers, etc. Shipping it via UPS the week before you arrive. Is this still allowed?

Yes, it is allowed. We shipped a box ahead to the WL last week. If you use UPS or FedEx the box will go directly to the resort, and there is no fee. If you use the US Postal Service, the box will go to a processing center first, and you may be charged a $5 fee when you retrieve it. We used UPS and the tracking info showed it arrived on Tuesday, and we arrived on Thursday. When we checked in the CM said, "Oh I see you have a package waiting"... and we were all set.

My husband had a package shipped from home (Pittsburgh) to our resort in May (Boardwalk), while we were there. An anniversary gift he'd bought me came the day after left, so he had it shipped. Outside of the typical shipping charges, the Boardwalk charged him $8 to pick up the package. It was shipped by FedEx. He was frustrated by the extra fee....glad to see others did not have extra fees.
