Sharing food on Silver Package

We will be at Disney in April and are using the Silver Package. I had a question about using the magical wishes for food. We had hoped to use the wishes for just me and my wife for meals and let our 9 yr. old daughter share our food (except at buffets). We will get way more than we can both finish so there would be enough to share and save us some money. I was reading in the Silver Package brochure and it says that "Children ages 3 to 9 must order from the children's menu where available. Children under the age of 3 may share from the adult's plate or a meal may be purchased separately a la carte from the menu". Does this mean that if we are using magical wishes for meals that our daughter cannot share with us? Has anyone done this. I have read other posts that seem to indicate sharing or splitting plates is allowed, but I have not seen if this is true if magical wishes are involved.

I may be wrong here, but don't you have to buy Silver for all people in your party when you purchace the package?

If that's true, then your daughter has her own wishes.

Maybe Pam will read this one and answer the question.

Have fun!

That is true, but you don't have to use them for kids. Most of the suggestions I have read have said not to use them for kids meals as you can buy them cheaper than the wishes are. They suggest using the wishes for other items. Just because the adults are eating with wishes does not mean the kids have to. You can use them any way you wish as they are put into a pool. There is no differentiaion between them once you buy them. The only caveat it that each person in your party must be on the same package.

If you quoted the text correctly, then I would say that you are technically not allowed to share. Depending on the apathy of the server/managment though, you might be able to pull it off. Just don't state it up front. Order and then ask for a small plate or the like when you get your meals. If not too obvious about it, I think this approach might work.

You're absolutly corrct. And I agree 100%. I would nevr use a wish for anything less than the value of a wish. We only use ours for expensive meals, and tours. And we always do a few 2 wish meals when we visit, so I know I'm getting my moneys worth on them. :slurp:

I'd do what monorailmike has suggested. And hopefully the CM wont put up a fuss.

Have fun!
