Shanghai Disney Hotels

I have seen for months several posting at other web sites that there will be two hotels at Shanghai Disney Resort when it opens. Additional details have been appearing in the last few days saying that one of the hotels will be a Victorian Hotel, while the one nearest Shanghai Disneyland will be based on Toy Story. Has anyone seen this or any other information.

I've seen this news as well, probably on the same sites as you.

If the Victorian hotel is going to look much like the Grand Floridian or the HKDL Hotel, I'll be disappointed. Just for the sake of variety, I'd rather the design be closer to that of the somewhat-similar-but-pinker DL Hotel at DLP or the TDL Hotel. Better yet, go with an entirely new design and color scheme!

And the Toy Story hotel... what I'm seeing is the Toy Story section of ASMovies spread out over an entire property -- and that makes me feel a bit queasy.

I hope the other two hotels that are rumored for the resort turn out to be a bit more inspired... but you'd think they would have led with their strongest concepts for the premiere of the resort, no?
