Shades of Green park ticket info?

I asked this a while ago in the other forum but no one seemed to know.

Does anywhere here know where I could find updated info about Shades of Green ticket prices? I have checked all over the internet, I've gone to the travel agency on base, and no one knows. I've been trying to call Shades of Green's ticket office for 2 days and they are always "busy assisting other customers" and they don't respond to my messages.

You all know everything about Disney here. Someone MUST know the answer to this!! I just want to know what their ticket prices are since Disney switched over to Magic Your Way. Last year it was $51 with no tax for a single day ticket. If that is still the case in 2005 it will save my family $12.63 per ticket. But if they have switched over to the Magic Your Way system then I might want to buy more than 2 single day tickets, maybe invest in the 10 day/no expiration tickets instead. I just can't find any information anywhere.

Well, Shades of Green is a resort... so I'm confused about the "tickets" you are asking about. They would go to the Magic You Way system, since it is what is established by the company. I do not know what the discounts would be... but any MWR office would be able to tell you.

I know what you are talking about, but I don't have any more info then you do.

One of little PhD's classmates parents work for the goverment and they went to WDW recently. I was helping her plan out her trip and she was telling me about the SOG perks. If you get your park tickets from them it is cheaper then normal tickets. You have to buy them there. However with the new MYW tickets, going for 4 to 7 days it might be cheaper that way. If you are only going to the parks a few days 1 to 3, buying at SOG might be better.

With all the ticket changes I would just keep trying to call them. When are you going? Can you wait to buy the tickets. As time goes on this system will get the kinks wore out of it.

Good luck.

The tickets are regular theme park tickets that the government purchases and then resells to military families at Shades of Green at a discounted price. I've already checked my local MWR travel agency and they didn't have any info.

They wouldn't necessarily have to sell Magic Your Way tickets just yet. Any Disney tickets purchased before December 2004 are good forever, so if Shades of Green has a whole bunch of tickets that the government purchased before that deadline they could still be used and they could be significantly less expensive. If they have already run out of their supply of non-expiring tickets THEN they would have to switch over to Magic Your Way.

For about $415 after tax I believe you can get a 10 day premium magic your way ticket with no expiration. If Shades of Green is selling them at 10% off that price plus no tax then it would probably be worth my while to buy the 10 day ticket with no expiration to use over my next several trips instead of buying just a 2 day ticket. So that's what I'm trying to figure out before I go down. (I'll be there in 3 weeks.)

Isn't an Annual Pass cheaper than a 10 day ticket? How long are you going to keep the ticket before you use it again?

AP is only good for a year. She could use this for longer then a year worth of trips. (if that is what you are thinking.)

I talked to the shades of green yesterday. They are still working on the discounted rate and expect to have the new price list up at shadesofgreen.org very soon.

I know that's why I asked the second question. I live in FL so I always buy a FL Resident AP. That gives me an excuse to go again (like I really need an excuse).

The current SoG WDW ticket pricing is listed Here but as you can see it's last update was April 19, 2004.

I would expect they would keep the same page location when they get the new rates up so checking that page frequently may turn someting up.
