Now I know the little vendors at the food and wine festival sell small portions of food for the "samples" however do they have larger variations in the restaurants? I have an addiction to the cheese soup from I think its Canada and I am more than pleased that its back, but the portion for it is SOOO Small, do they sell a full cheese soup in the restaurant during this time? Like I could easily be happy with a meal of just that soup!

I wish this small sample was available all year long. I don't always want to take the time for a full dinner or try to make the ADR 180 out but would love to have to soup.

You are so right, that IS a serious question! Lol. Now, get a little baguette and red wine on the side and you are set my friend

That soup is heaven! We went to Le Cellier one night and then went to Food and Wine and got more soup! So good! Then, when we got home, we made it! So yum.

I have no idea if you can still do this, but in years past (back when it was 1TS for dinner), while we were waiting to be seated I remember seeing a couple of people walk up and ask if they could just get a bowl of cheddar soup as a take-out, and they let them. It may be really good, but using 2TS credits for "just" soup sounds pretty expensive. If they will still do this and it works for you, I hope you enjoy!! Maybe they will let you get some of those pretzel sticks to go with it! :hungry:

Do they serve it with a nice chunk of flakey bread? Because that sounds freaking amazing
While the soup does not come with bread, bread is brought to the table (pretzel , sourdough and multi-grain...pretzel goes especially well with the soup!) When I make the soup at home, I always serve it with a big loaf to be pulled apart and dipped into the soup. It is amazingly good!

Just to make sure that you don't get the wrong idea, Le Cellier, not only sells a large portion of the soup during the F&W Festival, they sell it every day of the year. It's absolutely delicious, easily my favorite thing to eat at Disney.
