Got my eyes and ears open for every tid bit concerning September.
Rehabs / closings..EMH's.... Just had a panic attack when I saw Space Mtn was closing intermittenly in Sept.
.. then breathed a sigh of relief that my dates arent affected. Yeah, as soon as that September trip got booked, I'm on alert.

Yeah space mt rehab doesn't interfere with my vacation either but the jungle cruise does! Oh well. I guess I can deal!Got my eyes and ears open for every tid bit concerning September.
. When are you going? We are at shades of green Sept 13 and 14 and then POR 15-21

We went in sept in 2011 and the parks were empty. During the week I didn't see a wait time over ten minutes. Of course the parks closed early. These extended hours are nice but is scaring me! My husband doesn't like crowds. I guess we will be taking afternoon pool breaks. If we must I guess he can stay behind at the resort.

POFQ Sept 11 to 22nd. Disappointed too that the Jungle Cruise is being affected. Hoping more refurbs/ closures arent announced. Make me to have to alter my park plans...

Panic attack suffered here as well! Me because I first thought it said Splash Mountain, and my OH because he loves Space Mountain! We're there from the 3rd -12th so he gets some days in between closures!Got my eyes and ears open for every tid bit concerning September.

So sad to say that we have finally decided that a trip this year is not in our plans. I thought we would go on at least one vacation but....none is in the works, no WDW or Mt. Rushmore, which was our other option. We have decied to take my bonus and make some home improvements we have wanted for awhile. I am trying to get happy over painting and hardwood flooring but it is just not the same as a trip to Disney. I asked my husband earlier today if he thought we would regret not going and he didn't blink an eye, he said nope, we will regret not taking the money to improve our home. So practical, so him. He will be happy that he has a project. I will miss the lazy days of lying by the pool and going to MNSSHP. Disney will always be there, right?
