September, October, or November?

I'm planning my first Fall visit to Disneyland for somewhere between the end of September to the middle of November this year, and I was looking for everyone's opinions on the best time to go in that period. I'd like to avoid crowds as much as possible, but I'd also like to avoid ride closures and re-decorating, too.

Anytime is good....Kids are in school, so crowds are low. Oct has the "not-so-scary" halloween thing. But that's up to you. I'd avoid going after mid-november to avoid Thanksgiving altogether.

We go in Sept every year.....always nice and quiet.

Whoops..I meant we go to WDW at this time. I'm guessing DL is the same way :)

When you go "off-season" you have to expect closures. So it's mainly a trade off....crowds-rides open or short lines and some closures. I always pick off season to go, we went the first weekend in December...the park was beautiful and the lines were pretty short, few closures.
