We arrived at the Lodge today. Cloudy and started raining around 5 pm. Whispering canyon for lunch at 2:30 the place was empty, maybe 4 tables taken but it was a lot of fun. The resort in general seems not to crowded. We are on the 5 th floor and can see the castle clearly through the trees!!! We are currently waiting to see how well Hallowishes will look from our balcony then off to bed for our first day in the parks tomorrow AK!!

Awesome!! Are you in a standard view room? We are going in November and in a Standard view room and requested 5th or 6th floor (my dad has a "thing" about being on lower levels!!)

One M & M are done with college, we will take an extended off peak trip! Up to now, we have had to go during their breaks, which of course is always peak crowds.
Thank you guys for the well wishes. We are in a woods view room. We actually saw the fireworks very well, especially the Hallowishes finale WOW!! We are going to the MNSSHP in Tues.
Today we had a better than elected time at AK, not my favorite park, but it was a nice day. Man it gets so hotta the AK, it must be 10 degrees warmer there!!! Crowd levels were not bad at all, we went on KRR once with about a 10 min wait, went one again and it was a little longer, about 30 min. Everest was 30 min but we did the FP so no problem. Had a great time at It's Tough to be a Bug, our girls never wanted to do it but felt adventurous today and they loved it. Tomorrow I will report from HS!
P.S. got to see Devine, so cool, that wass the first time in years. I had never seem her interact with guest, see walked over tp my girls, waved her long arm over their heads thn bent down and rubbed the top of the 13 yr olds head with the leaves on top of her head. Got it all on video!!!
