Sent Tony Baxter a letter...?

I am obsessed with Walt Disney Imagineering. Like I go insane to find out what new things the team comes up with. Anyways, I aspire to be an imagineer one day and so in trying to get my foot in the door, or just get an idea of how to do that, I sent the president, Tony Baxter, a letter explaining my dreams and goals. I asked him to take a look at my drawings that I drew and sent copies of them in the letter.

I sent this letter about.......4 weeks ago. I still have not received any response. Am I getting my hopes up for nothing? If anyone has ever sent a letter and received a response from anyone in the WDI company, I would love to hear your experience because I am really hoping that Mr. Baxter will get back to me somehow. I gave him all my contact info so I made it easy for him to do so if he chooses to.

Am I being a little too......naive? Or do you think he will respond.
Let me know!

If you sent drawings with original ideas they will barely take a glance and mail them right back or trash them.

They have a strict policy (from a Disney FAQ on their site):

"Our long-standing company policy does not allow us to accept or consider creative ideas, suggestions, or materials other than those that we have specifically requested. We hope you will understand that it is the intent of this policy to avoid the possibility of future misunderstandings when projects developed by our professional staff might seem to others to be similar to their own creative work. Please do not send us any unsolicited original creative materials such as stories or ideas, screenplays, or original artwork, etc"

You should have just sent a letter.

I appreciate your response to this thread. I think that I will call their office on Monday and see if I can speak to a respresentitive. My drawings were not plans or creative ideas, they were just photographs/drawings that I included for advice.
