I am soo excited! Next year I will be a senior in high school. Seeming that I am such a HUGE WDW girl, I got my mom to agree to let me have my pictures taken down there. So, during my spring break trip I am getting them done at Grand Floridian! HAs anyone ever seen any of them from the GF, and do you have any suggestions on exactly where in the GF I should take them!

I would say by its "beach", but making sure you have the hotel in the background or by the Wedding Pavillion with the Castle as a background. I´m not sure if you need a special permission to do that though.... ;)

I have no idea, but I'm staying there in uhh... April, i think is when I'm going. You've gotta post em (the pics) after you get em taken. I'm gonna be a senior next year too, but i won't be goin to WDW to get my pics taken. :animwink:

Yup! I will definatly post them. I am very excited. Disney actually takes the photos, so I get them in a disney portfolio. The only bad thing is that they pick me up at 6 in the morning!! That means getting up early, we almost did them the day after easter, but we decided to do it 2 days after so we could be out late on easter.

I'm planning on going to bed early the night before. REAL early. The best part is that they pick me up by limosine! (sp?) The other nice thing is that they are about the same price as it would be to have them taking here up in Michigan. Not a very hard choice. hehe:lol:

Kelly, congrats. That is a great idea to do your pictures at WDW. they are the most important pictures in you life so far (there will be more!!!!!) It seems like just yesterday when I got mine. (in fact it was a loooonngg time ago.) Now I look nothing like them and I just got ones taken with my husband and baby!!!

I am sure they will turn out great. Cant wait to see them.

DON'T GET SUN BURNED!!!!!!!

I am also from Michigan! (are you sick of winter yet or what?)

I live about 15 minutes from the indiana border, and about .5 miles from Lake michigan, and this year's winter hasn't been too bad, and the time it was, I was in WDW hehehe. I won't have to worry about a sunburn cuz I don't burn or tan, I just stay white as a snowflake! :(

Oh, a West Sider. You get snow all the time there (Don't you just love lake effect?) I lived on the west side for a few years back in the college days (went to WMU around 1990-1992)

I live about 15 miles north of Detroit. It has been mild here, but not enough for me. I am ready to be done with winter. It is funny how strong the draw to WDW is in the winter. During the summer months I don't dream, think live it as much.

As far as not burning. This year you will, Murphy's law. Don't mean to curse you. Just plan ahead. You don't want anything to mess up the pictures. What are you going to wear?

yeah, I always use sunscreen anyways. I'm planning on going to WMU. It's got a great music program. For the pics, I'm wearing a prom dress for the inside pics, and a tiara heheehe, and then outside, either shorts or jeans and a shirt. I found a really cute pic dress at Deb, it is pink, and then I found a tiara to go with it, I'm not sure yet. We leave on the 28th of March so I have some time. I'm soo excited though.

Sound good, nice variety. (too bad you can't have your Prom date there too!) That's ok, you don't need anything to take away from you!!!!!!

WMU is a good school. I enjoyed my time there. It's big enough to be a nice university, but not so big that you get lost. I was in the Social Work program (but ended up graduating from Madonna University in Livoina.) But you can't tell I ever graduated from my spelling and on line engish. :)

If I remember right, the music program is good. They used to have audtions for Ceader Point and WDW for summer programs. Are you considering that? After all, what good is a degree in music? Kinda like Social Work, hard to find a job later. (luckely I did, but only after grad school!!) WMU teaching program is also good, you could do both.

That would be cool to bring down my prom date, if I had one. At this poing I'm hoping there is a freshman willing to go with me. hehehe

I am definatly going to do the WDWCP. There is no doubt. As for jobs in music, there are tons! I'm becomming a High School Band Director. They are in great need.

My husband will kill me for saying this because he was one too and proud of it but....... You can be the Queen of the band geeks!!

(just joking, I know there are many band geeks, sorry I mean musicians on this board!!!!!!)

BTW my husband was a band geek, not the queen of them. He made me make that clear.

That is great that you know what you want to do already. Best of luck!!!!!

BTW, you will love Y&B. The pool is great!!!!!!!!

That's a good idea. I am a senior right now and did something pretty creative for mine as well.

I was on a bear skin rug just wearing pair of boxers. I had leopard pillows around and I was on this couch. It's freaking hilarious. I am giving this really fake-sexy look... ahh, it's quite funny. I scanned it once but it didn't work. Maybe i'll do it again and replace my picture of me and aladdin with the 1/2 naked one of me!

Oh god! this is turning into a really bad 80's teen movie! you're gonna fly him down and pretend to be dating and end up falling in love... the only thing it's missing is a corny theme song! You could use "It's Raining Men"

Okay, I wouldn't actually fly him down. I'm not that ugly that I can't find someone. hehehe Might end up being a freshman, but they aren't that bad.

Last year i took a girl from hastings (a city near by). She was one of the hottest girls there- it was pretty sweet. The thing that sucks about High School is that you know everyone too well. "that's the girl who went out with Billy" or "that kid threw up all over the desk in 7th grade!" or best yet "thats the girl who fools around with teachers" well i think i've gone too far with that- but you get my point! I suggest finding a hottie from another school and taking him. Make sure he's friends with your friends though otherwise it would suck. I also suggest going with an attractive friend.

Goodluck. I am going to start my search in a few weeks! It's Feb. and already people are talking about a freaking dance that isn't until the middle of May! Shheeesh! I can't wait until I'm in college and at the WDWCP!
