Sending things Ahead

I have heard about people sending packages of food to the resorts to be there before they arrive. Has anyone does this? Has the package been there waiting?

I've never done the ship ahead..but we do always pack a bag w/snacks and goodies only..then we have an empty suitcase for all of the goodies we manage to accumulate while at WDW. So you might think about that route if the ship ahead doesnt work for you. good luck...

We have done that before, but also usually go to the supermarket to get water and other things. This year though we are thinking of not getting a car and would have to rely on what we bring. So we are thinking of packing the bag and sending a package so we will have plenty of food and water.

This is the first time I have ever heard of this.

But my guess is that if you are not checking in by the time it arrives they will reject it and well, your up you know what creek.

I would call your resort and ask them if you can send a package to yourself before you leave, like expalin it as sending your luggage ahead.

I have read about people doing this...I just wanted to see if anyone had ever done it and if the results were good.
