Woo, my first thread! Hope it goes well!

So I was thinking about my past visits to Magic Kingdom, and subsequently EPCOT. I realized that I will, without fail, always turn left and head directly to Adventureland after getting through Main Street. Then, I realized that I will also ALWAYS turn left and go to Mexico as my first port of call in WS.

What about you guys? Are you left-inclined or right-inclined? Mexico or Canada? Adventureland or Tomorrowland? Or are you a total weirdo and take the ferry to American Adventure, or slip around the Castle to Fantasyland first?

And for the record, I am not left handed, so that isn't a factor!

I generally go right at AK/DHS and left at EPCOT/MK.

Almost always the same every time.

For me it has nothing to do with just being randomly inclined to go one direction or the other. I go in the direction that seems to be the most rewarding when I enter the park.

MK-I usually take a right towards Tommorowland because the corridor is more open and less busy than the corridor to Adventureland.

Epcot-I usually take a left at WS because Mexico and Norway both have rides while taking a right leads me to no rides.

DHS-I usually take a right because it leads me to ToT and RNRC. Then once I see the lines are too long I usually skip the ride and take a left to go somewhere else in the park.

AK-I take a right because it leads to Dinosaur and EE.

We did this before TSMM, now we go there first and get Fastpasses, and depending on return time, maybe head to ToT and RNRC.

I'm a lefty usually, probably cause I'm left handed, but I think more than anything its because I like the attractions that happen to be on the left side. In MK I like hitting Adventureland first for Dole Whips and PoTC. In WS my favorite pavillions are on the left, which are Mexico, China, and Germany.

In DHS and AK I go towards whatever attraction I plan on hitting first. :p

Usually I'll take a right in MK right into the Main Street bakery(get some cheese danish), THEN go left through adventureland and start with frontierland(Splash, BTMRR).

Epcot, always right, straight to England and get a few pints to start off the long trip.

DHS/AK, depends on who I am with.

MK: always go left, psychological pull of Pirates, Splash, Big Thunder and the Mansion.

Epcot: left again, but not as consistently, don't really know why

AK: straight back to Africa

Studios: right, for ToT and RR

MK= Turn right to Tomorrowland to get SM fastpass. Then ride pirates and head back over to Splash to get a FP there.

Epcot=RUN to Soarin and get fastpass there, then head to JIYI or maybe EO now or else Nemo.

HS= Run to TSM and get our fastpass there, then head to backlot tour or ToT.

AK= Run to EE and then who knows what from there.

MK-Always left for Splash Mountain, Pirates, and Haunted Mansion

Epcot-Always right. I like to work through the countries and then finish with the rides and Mexico since Mexico is my favorite.

DHS-Right to TOT

AK-If I'm going first thing in the morning we head left to the safari. If we are going at any other time we head to the right for Everest.

Resort-Straight to the pool!!

My path depends on who I'm with and what their priorities are. If I'm with little kids it's normally straight back to Fantasyland. If I'm with a coaster fan I'm heading to Slapsh and BTM or maybe SM.

Same type of things at the other parks.

I am trying to remember if the castle has always (in my memory, ie the past 20 years) been blocked at the front by the stage. I feel like I do remember walking through it to leave. There was a store where BBB is now. But I'm probably mis-remembering about being able to walk out through the front.

Although...

I had dinner at CRT last August, and we left the restaurant 15 minutes before Wishes, and they allowed us to exit through the castle's front gate. We got front row seats, right near the ropes. It was the second-to-last night of my CP. Wishes always makes me cry. Glad I got the CD before they got rid of it

My point in asking is because now, when the new Fantasyland opens, people are going to rush to get to it in the morning. I wonder how many people would just skip Adventureland and Tomorrowland completely if they could go straight back...

Heading for the great escape.
Left at MK Right at Epcot, at pace trampling slow moving coffin dodgers, hurdling Nimitz class strollers and their occupants and circumnavigate the salad averse.

MK: Right, to Tomorrowland, because my family has a sort of tradition/method of eating at the Main Street Bakery, then having two of us walk ahead, get SM FPs, and then go do other Tomorrowland stuff.

Epcot: Right, usually, because Soarin' is a cool guy who doesn't afraid of anything and then in the WS, it's 50/50.

AK: Right, we always go straight to It's Tough to Be a Bug for some reason. :lookaroun

DHS: It used to be left to Star Tours and stuff, but since TSM, we go straight back and then scramble around incoherently.

It really depends on time of day for me:

MK: In the early morning, we generally go to the right toward Tomorrowland to try to get on Space Mountain with very little wait, and generally do the park counter-clockwise from there. If it's a little later in the day, we head to Adventureland, do Pirates and then try to do BTMR and/or Splash Mountain.

EPCOT: Almost always head to right, unless we go later in the day, try to get FPs for Soarin' and then go to Test Track, M:S, LwtL, SE, or some other ride. WS - generally go to the right, unless we're short on time and just want to go on the two rides.

DHS: Always to the right, if it's the early morning go to TSM and either ride it or get FPs, if it's not, check the times board and go to RNR and ToT.

AK: Almost always to the left to do KS in the early morning, though if we go later a good chance of going to the right to do EE.

At MK it's random. Been there so much and we totally crisscross the parks all day long, we don't go in any particular direction.

At Epcot though, we ALWAYS walk WS starting with Canada and around counter-clockwise. Don't know why really, just how it goes I guess.

MK: Always left, although last time in May we headed straight to Big Thunder and Splash. No one there in the AM. The CMs were letting us stay on Big Thunder and ride again!

Epcot: Depends where our lunch reservation is. Next time: China!

You could walk through it before =) I don't know if they still open it up after the last Dream Along with Mickey show, but it is possible.

MK: Up. Catch the train to Adventureland and beat most everybody there.

Epcot: Random. We usually go to TT or Soarin for FP's, but if it's not too busy, we'll start with SE.

DHS: Race to TSMM for the FP. If the wait is less that 30, ride in the normal line immediately. Then random.

AK: Random. Sometimes it's Dinoland, sometimes it's FotLK, sometimes KS.
