I've been on two trips in the last 2.5 years with my kids.
2015 - 2.5 yo daughter and 8 month old son.
2017 - 4.5 year old daughter and 2.5 year old son.
I loved both. The first trip was tough on the wife because being a newer mom that was still breast feeding was hard. However! I have a photo of Snow White planting a giant kiss including lipstick print on my son's 8 month old forehead while he stairs enchantingly at her from his high chair. So it was totally worth it.
There are pros and cons, if you are moving fast and want to be nimble keep the young one at home. However if you think you can handle the little one I would bring them. I'm glad I did.
