Seeking advice for five-day stay in June

Hi friends,

Heading down to WDW with my girlfriend in mid June (a Tuesday-Saturday). Staying at Port Orleans French Quarter and have the standard dining plan.

Yes, I'm going in June. Yes, I know it will be crowded. But I'm trying to learn as much as possible. Curious if people here have some general advice (which parks to do in what order, absolute must-eats on the plan, etc.) to help make this trip a memorable one.

Thanks!

It's Star Wars weekends at DHS - if you like Star Wars yo will want to plan that in.
Standard plan is one Table service a day - or you can save up 2 for a signature spot. Most say the 2 for Signature isn't the best use of credits.
For single use Table Service I suggest:

Epcot: Get FP for soarin or TT. Dinner: Rose and Crown get a 7:30 reservation and when you check in ask for a patio seat - say you don't mind waiting. Stay until Illuminations.
DHS: Star wars on the weekends - will be crowded. DInner: 50's Prime Time - check out heir blue plate special - it changes a lot.
MK: don't go on Monday DInner: (well close at the Polynesian): 'Ohana
AK: Make it an early day Tusker House - last breakfast reservation - they will swap over to lunch while you are there and it makes a great brunch

I would pick your park order based on park hours, including which parks have Extra Magic Hours on which days. Get to the parks before rope drop for both (a) least crowds and (b) coolest time of day. Check out online menus to decide where you might like to eat. Perhaps buy the Unofficial Guide to WDW for many good suggestions about all topics including rides, FP+, restaurants, etc. Enjoy!

Mid-June isn't horrible crowd-wise, as I think their "Summer Season" begins towards the end of the month. It's usually July and the first half of August that gets a bit crazier. It won't be empty, but should be manageable. It will definitely be hot and humid by then - so take some time in the afternoon to relax, whether that's back at the resort or just cooling off somewhere int the parks.

My best advice I always try and give is start your day early. Yes, I know it's vacation, but if you hit the park at opening and use FP+ for some of the bigger attractions, you'll save a ton of time with not having to stand in lines all day. If you're not willing to get up early, then I suggest skipping the park with morning Extra Magic Hour. You'll only be walking into an even more crowded park by late morning/early afternoon.

One suggestion on dinner - if you end up at Downtown Disney on one of your evenings, head over to Saratoga Springs (it's a nice walk from the Marketplace over) and dine at Turf Club. It tends to be quieter, and you can often get a last minute reservation. We eat there a few times a year, and always have great service and food. The prime rib and salmon are both excellent. It's out of the way if you're not heading to DTD, but I wanted to suggest it since we enjoy it so much.

If you're into planning, the Unofficial Guide to WDW is a great resource. It's huge though, and very detailed - for anyone who isn't a planner, it's way too much.

Hope you have a great trip!

If you are departing on Saturday, Star Wars weekends may not even be applicable to your stay.
What kind of food do you like? Do you want to dine with characters or have a more signature experience? Some of our favorite meals have been 'Ohana dinner, Boma dinner, Raglan Road, and Kona Cafe (tonga toast) and Captain's Grille for breakfast. None of these are character/signature though.
Don't forget to try a Dole Whip at Aloha Isle in the MK (Adventureland) if you like pineapple- in the heat it will be very refreshing!
Plan FP+ times for later in the day when the crowd is higher, and ride as much as you can by arriving at rope drop or staying for late EMH. Splash Mtn is great after dark!
If you like to swim, don't miss Typhoon Lagoon and especially the wave pool/Crush n Gusher.
Take a break mid-late afternoon to return to your resort for swim/rest. You will be able to go go go late night if you do!
I could go on and on but maybe you could be more specific about what YOU like? Then we could help you more.

Thanks for the feedback, everyone! Here's my (very rough) outline of a plan. I would love suggestions for adds or alterations!

--Tuesday: Arrive and head straight to MK. Dinner at Be Our Guest followed by Wishes.

--Wednesday: MK again. Hit everything we missed Tuesday. Dinner at Ohana.

--Thursday: Epcot all day. Dinner at Chefs de France (my girlfriend loves French culture) followed by IllumiNations.

--Friday: DHS in morning. Maybe return to Epcot? Back to DHS for Fantasmic dinner package (Hollywood & Vine...Should I switch to Mama Melrose's?)

--Saturday: AK all day. Contemplating Wild Africa Trek...worth it? Dinner at Raglan Road in Downtown Disney.

--Sunday: Hit anything we missed/want to do again and depart
