Seeing Hogwart's Christmas lights and Diagon Alley

If we are at IOA to see the Christmas projection show on Hogwart's Castle, would we have enough time to get on the Hogwart's Express to head to Diagon Alley to see that at night before USF closes? We are traveling in early December, and I believe the castle show starts at dusk and both parks close fairly early.

It just depends on the hours on those days. If USF is open later than IOA, it may be possible. But you also have to anticipate a lot of other people will probably try to do the same thing.

They run the castle show pretty much constantly so if you get an early show you can depending on when USF closes. Sometimes they have a buyout and it closes early. Can't plan til much closer to the date then it may be a "day of" thing.

The castle show runs continuously so if the parks close at, say, 9:00pm you could see the castle show then take the Hogwarts Express over to Diagon Alley before USF closes.
